Singapore’s trusted halal & Muslim lifestyle guide. Let’s set it up for you in two quick steps.
We’re a discovery platform — not a certifier. Here’s exactly what each badge means.
The business holds a valid MUIS halal certificate. We record the certificate number and link to the official HalalSG register so you can verify it yourself.
Example: A restaurant with full-kitchen MUIS certification.
Our team has reviewed documentary proof (e.g. business registration, supplier halal certs) and confirmed the halal claim, even where MUIS certification isn’t applicable.
Example: A Muslim-owned home bakery with verified halal suppliers.
We have confirmed the business is owned by a Muslim individual or family through registration documents.
Example: A family-run aircon service in the east.
The business describes itself as halal-friendly. We have NOT verified this. Always ask the business directly.
Example: A café serving no pork but without certification.
The business states it uses no pork and no lard. This is self-reported and NOT verified by us or MUIS.
Example: A hawker stall declaring no pork no lard.
The business has submitted documents and is awaiting our review. No claim is confirmed yet.
Example: A newly added café awaiting document checks.

MUIS Certified means the business holds an official MUIS halal certificate (we link to HalalSG to verify). Halal-Friendly is a self-declaration by the business that it serves halal-friendly food, and it is explicitly labelled “not certified.” The visual badge styles are deliberately different so the distinction is never ambiguous.
Admin Verified means the Humble Halal team has reviewed supporting documents (such as a business registration or certificate) for a Muslim-owned business that may not carry MUIS certification. It is a trust signal, not a substitute for MUIS halal certification.
Certified listings show a “last verified” date, certificate number and expiry. Where a listing’s halal status has recently changed, we flag it so you can re-confirm before visiting.
Every listing has a “Report incorrect info” option. You can flag a wrong halal status, closed business, wrong hours or changed ownership, and our team reviews it.
