Great location and very very good service. Sara from reception is very kind and professional: every time we approach she makes extra step to make our stay more comfortable. Mr.Ahmed i think HSKP manager is the most polite and quick person who solved all our issues even without us asking. Mr.M.Ali from the restaurant is amazing and kind. Mr.Kareem from breakfast of course and many more other Ladies and Gentlemen who work hard to make the stay of the guests memorable. BRAVO 👏. Ah also I must say dinner buffet was very surprisingly great: food was flowing: so delicious and beautifuly presented. Love Sofitel Medinah
Sofitel would always be my only choice of hotel in Madinah. The suites was superb. The foods amazing. Special thanks to Chef Rani for providing us the Asian food especially the “Pengat Pisang”. As a diamond member, I am so overwhelmed with her and especially Sofitel Hospitality. Hope to see Rani in my next visit.

This is our second time staying at Sofitel Madinah. It was an overall pleasant experience. Rooms were lovely, hotel smelt divine, was clean and the location is great. We checked our luggage in via the Harmain Train baggage service however our luggage did not turn up to the hotel as planned. We attempted to contact Harmain Station/SPL however they were not helpful at all and extremely dismissive. Then we spoke to several people at the hotel reception on level M, unfortunately they were also unhelpful. We then went to concierge on the Ground Level and spoke to Faisl Badr & even with the language barrier, he took his time to listen and got a colleague to translate. Faisl requested for a contact of his to try and locate our luggages - this external person also went above and beyond to help us. Our luggages were still not located by the time Faisl's shift had ended and another person from the concierge (did not get his name but he was fair skin, young, was working the night shift on 23/11/2025) took it upon himself to take over and track our luggages which was sent to another nearby hotel. We were extremely grateful for this because if it wasn't for them, who knows what would have happened as the SPL service have yet to respond!! Also I would like to thank Badr (also from the concierge team) for his kind acts of service when in need. One thing which was disappointing was the service from a few members of the reception staff on the M level. When we approached a man at the desk (late shift on 23/11/2025 to seek help with our luggage issue, before even listening to what our query was, he had an attitude and said "Yes, what do you want" - I was not impressed at all with his tone and he immediately could tell so then smirked. I was not going to deal with him so luckily someone more senior turned up and directed us to the concierge. Also we asked for guidance on several occasions as we were having problems with our hotel room telephones however the reception team were not helpful AT ALL regarding this matter. The reception staff on the level M could honestly learn a thing or two from the concierge team who as a whole, presented excellent customer service, from the desk staff to the bell boys and doormen. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay again but please make the necessary improvements.
